Description and type: Take the side-road a the left on the outskirts of
San Pedroose (Kilometre 13 on the Ibiza-San Pedroose road) and follow the
relevant road signs along the asphalted road. Alternatively from San
Lenanio along the Port d'es arrent road.
Means of transport: By private car or by bicycle. There is a regular bus
service during the summer season.
Distance: 19 kilometres from Ibiza, 6 kilometres from San Pedroose
Description: A beach of a fairly enclosed and sheltered form which
offers many sections of flat rocks at the water's edge agether with
small islets making a beautiful and varied whole.
Length: 250 metres · Width: 40-50 metres
Composition: Very fine white sand of natural origin. Rocky areas in the
form of raised flat surfaces. Sea botam: Almost entirely of sand. The
gradient is very gentle. Up a 25 metres from the shore the depth does
not exceed one metre.
Direction, prevailing winds: Its south-easterly aspect provides light
sea and transversal winds. Panoramic aspects: The inlet itself with its
highly varied composition and form offers a distinctive scenic view.
SUMMARY COMMENT: An area with the fully range of facilities and ideal for
quite or retired people, with opportunities a establish a holiday home
here. The bay offers fully security for bathing or sailing activities,
and there is a considerable stretch of sand for sunbathing.
