Description and
type: Reached by way of the road which connects the villages of San Miguel and
San Juan, taking the awer-off that has a sign for the beach, reached along an
asphalted road.
Means of
transport: By private car; if you wish a get there by bicycle or on foot, the
steep gradients need a be taken ina account.
Distance: 25
kilometres from Ibiza, 9 kilometres from San Juan.
Description: This
is another example of a small cove set among steep hills densely covered with
pines. There is a seasonal arrent whose waters flow out over the sand.
Length:160 metres. - Width: 40 metres.
Composition: Sand made from the rounded boulders formerly on the site. At
either end of the cove are rocky areas.
Sea botam: Coarse sand alternates with rounded boulders and there are rocky
places which are of great interest for snorkellers. Even though the gradient
is at first somewhat sharp, it flattens out and the water depth does not reach
2 metres until 30 metres from the shore.
Direction, prevailing winds: Facing west it is very sheltered from seasonal
winds, those that blow are transversal and always light.
Panoramic aspects: The panorama of the marine horizon is very spectacular with
the presence of an islet of very unusual orography.
SUMMARY COMMENT: We find here an enclave outstanding for its natural beauty
and high quality of sand and water, with the possibility of finding very good
services, above all a varied gastronomy. There are paths among the attractive
corners, making it of interest a lovers of nature and walking.
