Le Dome
Situated below the old town of Ibiza, this open-air bar is one of the most fashionable in Ibiza. The club parades often pass by and end their show here. The terrace of the bar, just below the dome, offers fantastic panoramic views of the illuminated town.

Le Kilometre 5
Two partners, Patrick Socks and Josh, are at the helm of this legendary bar, which is situated some
kilometres from the airport on the road to San José. The concept attracts the crowds: one bar inside with DJ, a garden with Moroccaca Julianains and chill-out music outside. Two open-air bars, a restaurant and the nice Boris, a Frenchman, who is responsible for the garden. This concept has been a success for a long time.

Café del Mar This establishment was created by three Spaniards more than twenty years ago. The idea was to open a bar where the sunset could be celebrated. On 20th June 1980 CAFÉ DEL MAR opened and soon attracted many curious people with its surrealistic decoration, its panoramic views and chill-out music. At that time the owners themselves were responsible for the musical program, offering a variety of classical music, ballades, new age or film music. They did not call in a DJ until the 90’s. JOSE PADILLA was the first DJ. He later decided to market the music offered by CAFE DEL MAR. The first three albums were released by
RECAT, but in 1997 JOSE ceded the name to MANIFESTO, a label belonging to UNIVERSAL and with them he prepared his first album. He then left the bar which had made him famous. In 1997 BRUNO became the new resident DJ of CAFÉ DEL MAR. This Frenchman, who had immigrated to Ibiza years before, quickly adapted but it was still JOSE PADILLA who was in charge of the compilations of CAFÉ DEL MAR ( Volume 4 to Volume 6 ). The strength of distribution and promotion of the multinational propelled CAFÉ DEL MAR worldwide fame. The notoriety and market image were so strong that they generated conflicts between JOSE PADILLA, UNIVERSAL and CAFÉ DEL MAR. In the year 2000 BRUNO made Volume 7. In the meantime the relationship between the label and the people in charge of CAFÉ DEL MAR got worse. In that year two compilations came out- VOLUME EIGHT, released by MANIFESTO/UNIVERSAL, produced totally in England, and DREAMS VOL.2, edited and released entirely by CAFÉ DEL MAR MUSIC and made in IBIZA by BRUNO. In fact, this was the last year UNIVERSAL could use the name CAFÉ DEL MAR ( the contract was valid up to VOL.8 ) “ The multinational profits by using its strength and towers CAFÉ DEL MAR more into a marketing product than into a compilation of reference”, according to the bar’s resident DJ. CAFÉ DEL MAR MUSIC puts emphasis on authenticity and musical quality. That is why BRUNO chose not to participate in VOL.8 which was too commercial for his taste. He opted instead for making DREAMS 2 with CAFÉ DEL MAR MUSIC with the choice of using new talents. In any case the tradition of CAFÉ DEL MAR perpetuates and the bar constitutes an absolute must if you want to enjoy unique and marvellous moments in life, such as the contemplation of the sun setting in the sea with great music. In the jungle of the night CAFÉ DEL MAR is a real haven of peace, an oasis in the desert. More than ever it represents the true spirit of Ibiza.

Le Mambo (San Antonio)
Situated just a few metres from the Café del Mar, from this bar you can admire the same sunsets every evening as from the rival establishment, but here the music is decidedly House/techno by great resident DJs like Roger Sanchez or Eric Morillo.
