Description and type: Reached by way of the road which
connects the villages of San Miguel and San Juan, taking the tower-off that has
a sign for the beach, reached along an asphalted road.
Means of transport: By private car; if you wish to get
there by bicycle or on foot, the steep gradients need to be taken into account.
Distance: 25 kilometres from Ibiza, 9 kilometres from San
Juan.
Description: This is another example of a small cove set
among steep hills densely covered with pines. There is a seasonal torrent
whose waters flow out over the sand.
Length:160 metres. - Width: 40 metres.
Composition: Sand made from the rounded boulders formerly on the site. At
either end of the cove are rocky areas.
Sea bottom: Coarse sand alternates with rounded boulders and there are rocky
places which are of great interest for snorkellers. Even though the gradient
is at first somewhat sharp, it flattens out and the water depth does not reach
2 metres until 30 metres from the shore.
Direction, prevailing winds: Facing west it is very sheltered from seasonal
winds, those that blow are transversal and always light.
Panoramic aspects: The panorama of the marine horizon is very spectacular with
the presence of an islet of very unusual orography.
SUMMARY COMMENT: We find here an enclave outstanding for its natural beauty and
high quality of sand and water, with the possibility of finding very good
services, above all a varied gastronomy. There are paths among the attractive
corners, making it of interest to lovers of nature and walkin
